Another thing, the background is only loosely connected with the dragon and rock; at first I thought you used a photograph of a sunset, but then I saw the smudging on it. Background is a powerful compositional element; use it. There are a lot of half-hearted points here, like the sun not exactly being behind the dragon's head - as if you couldn't decide whether to frame it fully like a halo, or move it more down and to the left like the fiery breath. (Which might be another result of the "choked" space on the left. You decidedly need more air there.) But there are too many points where the cloud edgess cross the foreground, forming focal points which don't do anything mindful. Either a simpler, less crowded background would be better here, or a much more precisely designed sky where seemingly random clouds actually form subtle eye paths and compositional enhancements.
Finally, the lighting on the dragon does match the light on the clouds pretty well, but the rocks leave a lot to be desired. I'd expect more contrast and a sharper defined, deeper shadow there; one rock below the dragon is lit where it decidedly can't be.
But keep working, you're getting there.
